Chicago’s Seven Sisters College Consortium Presents "FLAMENCOE" IN GLENCOE

The Seven Sisters College Consortium of Chicago is set for a Twilight Tour, Dinner and Concert at the Chicago Botanic Garden on Thursday, June 27th. This complete evening experience includes parking (just mention ‘Seven Sisters’ when you arrive), tram ride, dinner buffet and a private seating section for the concert. Tram ride at 4:30 pm; meet in front of the Visitor’s Center. Private dining begins at 5:30 pm, featuring grilled salmon, fried chicken, salads, light desserts and soft drinks (wine and beer available for purchase at the cafeteria); a special section with seating will be reserved, just look for the Seven Sisters Alumnae Consortium of Chicago sign. The concert begins at 6:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm

Performing is El Payo, a rumba/nuevo flamenco group based in Chicago. Their distinct sound of both original and traditional music carries the unmistakable overtones of the passionate, raw energy that is flamenco music. They also perform with flamenco dancers for a stunning visual element.

Cost: $40 per person – Reservations accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Reserve your place by returning your check no later than June 17, 2013.
