The Club is pleased to announce that Blair Kamin, Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic of the Chicago Tribune and a Harvard Nieman Fellow 2012-13, will be our Summer Supper speaker, a "members preferred" event.  Enjoy the spectacular view from the Cliff Dwellers 22nd floor penthouse with its outside terrace overlooking Millennium Park.  Sip a cocktail and savor a summer supper of hamburgers and hot dogs accompanied by the usual summer fare.

Blair is a graduate of Amherst College AB '79, and received a Master of Environmental Design from the Yale University School of Architecture in 1984.  He holds honorary degrees from Monmouth University and North Central College where he also serves as an adjunct professor of art.  He plans to describe what it is like to be a Nieman Fellow, as well as the significance of the Harvard Gates, what is happening in Chicago’s architecture scene, is Chicago still the architecture jewel of the United States, and more.  As Mr. Kamin is an experienced lecturer in many forums and on many radio and television programs; this promises to be an exciting and informative program.
