 “The Fog of Religious Conflict”

Dean David N. Hempton of the Harvard Divinity School is a prominent scholar of global Christianity. He is also Harvard’s Alonzo L. McDonald Family Professor of Evangelical Theological Studies. In his talk entitled "The Fog of Religious Conflict" he draws on the memory of violence he witnessed in Northern Ireland to offer hopeful visions for the future, perspectives on the importance of religious literacy, and thoughts on how the scholarship taking place at HDS can benefit the University and the larger society.
