“Roy Lichtenstein:  A Retrospective is a landmark exhibition”, said Douglas Druick, President of The Art Institute.  “Exhibitions as extensive in size and scope as this exhibit represent the culmination of years of labor across virtually every department at the museum,” continued Mr. Druick.

The largest exhibition of the influential Pop artist to date, this retrospective brings together more than 160 works, from the familiar to the completely unexpected.  Our Club has a great opportunity to view these works and learn about the artist from Jay Dandy.

Jay Dandy is a former president of the Art Institute’s Society for Contemporary Art. James Rondeau, curator of the Exhibit, invited our speaker to be a researcher for the Lichtenstein Exhibit. Mr. Dandy is a pop art acolyte and friend of the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation. He has spent years studying Lichtenstein’s work and collecting pop art ephemera.

As a prelude to the tour, join fellow Harvardians for a martini, coke or whatever at the Cliff Dwellers. Stroll the Club’s exquisite open terrace with one of the most spectacular views in our City and visit with other tour attendees.
