HCC ChinaX Discussion Group
"An overview of China, historically, geographically, and culturally, starting with the origins and legitimation of China, followed by an exploration of the integral thinkers of the early period." -from the HarvardX course description

China (Part I): Political and Intellectual Foundations comprises the first of ten parts of ChinaX, a multi-part course collectively spanning over 6,000 years of history. For the HCC Fall 2018 Discussion Group, we will cover China (Part 1). This is an introductory course with no previous knowledge of Chinese history, literature or language required.  The HCC discussion group will meet approximately twice a month beginning in September 2018. Akin to a book club, our in-person meetings are for those who wish to discuss HarvardX online course lectures and readings. Join now, or anytime we are still meeting. Our gatherings are informal – some participants cover all course lectures, readings and assignments, while others accomplish what they can! Some come to every meeting, while others attend only when possible. Our discussions are lively and engaging for all members, so please consider joining us for the HCC China discussion group.
