Zebra Technologies Makes Fast Company’s List of Most Innovative Companies

“The concept of the ‘Intelligent Enterprise’ is about making businesses as smart and connected as the world that surrounds us. A sensor may seem like a small device, but when married with the troves of data and the ability to understand – and act – on it brings a big wave of technological innovation, creativity and new levels of intelligence to our world. To make the Intelligent Enterprise a reality, companies from across industries must collaborate on standard practices and guidelines enabling enterprises to gain greater operational visibility and reach higher levels of growth and productivity.” ~ Anders Gustafsson

Anders Gustafsson has served as chief executive officer and a director of Zebra Technologies, a global leader in providing solutions that give enterprises real-time visibility into their operations, since September 2007. In October 2015, he led Zebra’s acquisition of Motorola Solutions’ Enterprise business bringing together two industry leaders. Prior to joining Zebra, Mr. Gustafsson served as CEO of Spirent Communications plc, a publicly traded telecommunications company. At Spirent, he redirected that company's growth strategy, divested non-core operations, integrated historic acquisitions and streamlined the organization to realize significant cost savings. Prior to Spirent, he was senior executive vice president, global business operations, of Tellabs, Inc. While at Tellabs, Mr. Gustafsson also served as president, Tellabs International, as well as president, global sales, and vice president and general manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions with Motorola and Network Equipment Technologies. Mr. Gustafsson has an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He was a Fulbright Scholar and received numerous fellowships and scholarships for academic excellence.
