Sexual assault on campus is the hottest topic in higher education news this year. What’s really going on behind the headlines? What are the due process concerns when public or private schools handle accusations of violent felonies? How can parents and teachers help protect our students from having their educations derailed by a sexual assault allegation -- as accuser or accused?

Justin Dillon, a campus misconduct attorney, Hanna Stotland, an admissions consultant and former attorney, and Tanya Jachimiak, Director of the Title IX Office at Wake Forest University, will talk about the evolution of Title IX, the federal law banning sex discrimination on campus, and their experiences working with Title IX discipline cases. Hanna, a liberal feminist, and Justin, who was a Kasich delegate at the 2016 Republican convention, were section-mates at Harvard Law School and served together as constitutional law teaching assistants for Prof. Laurence Tribe. They now collaborate to educate the public about Title IX.
