Location: Sun Wah BBQ Restaurant, 5039 N. Broadway, Chicago (2blks south of Foster Ave., east side of the street.
Public transportation: Near CTA Red Line Argyle stop, CTA Broadway bus #36)
Parking: No private lot or valet; LAZ Self Parking lot is located nearby at 5017 N. Winthrop Ave. ($6/12hr). Go east on Winona Ave. (1 blk. north of the restaurant) to
Winthrop Ave. (one-way south), turn right, middle of block.
Street parking is available on Broadway and Argyle Streets (no meter charge on Sundays) and on neighborhood side streets, but space availability may vary.
Time: 5:00 pm Cash bar and appetizer tables
6:00 pm Dinner: Family-style Chinese banquet, open (round-table) seating
7:30PM-9:00PM Election of Officers and Board of Directors, followed by a Q&A session with Tina Tchen '78

During her eight years at the White House, Tina served as chief of staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, assistant to President Barack Obama, and the executive director of the Council on Women and Girls, leading the first-ever White House Summit on Working Families and the first-ever United State of Women Summit. Previously a high-powered lawyer, Tina’s career accomplishments have established her as a powerful advocate for gender equality. Currently, Tina is a partner at Buckley Sandler LLP, leading their Chicago office.
Tina is a former member of The Harvard Club of Chicago Board of Directors, and a former elected Director of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA). She has recently appeared on several regional and national forums and media programs, and should provide lively and interesting insights and perspectives from her involvements and experiences.
